Out of the Closet

While it’s not big on merchandising its inventory, Out of the Closet is a good place to look for first edition books, the occasional University text book, random vintage clothing and designer pieces and larger furniture.  With new stock arriving daily, it’s worth putting this one on your East Bay thrifting circuit.  But, just a word of warning – it’s not one to give you a warm, fuzzy feeling when you walk through its doors, with its flourescent lights, lack of ambiance and it’s sometimes not-so-friendly staff.  But, hey, they’re helping the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, so it’s good to support them anyway.
