The Goodwill, Concord is located in a cute vintage building, which looks a little Art Deco, which I love. It’s such a great building reuse and it really sets the thrifting mood. Well-organized and tidy, this Goodwill carries large furniture items like couches, dining room tables and chairs, as well as plenty of vintage goodies, clothing and tchotchkes to keep your favorite thrift store junkie happy. There’s a convenient donation center on site, if you need to clear out the old to make room for the new! Sign up on their “wish list” for items you may be seeking (see store for details).
I’ve found some pretty amazing things at this store over the years. It’s funny how different Goodwill stores in different areas can get such diverse types of donations. As I’ve mentioned on other Goodwill Store pages, the Goodwill, Concord receives brand-new overstock items from Target stores. So, you’ll likely find that here, as well. Just writing this post is making me want to go thrifting right now! I hope that by helping you find the thrift stores in the San Francisco Bay Area that it inspires you to think about heading to your local thrift store, if you’re looking for a particular item, rather than heading to the mall. After all, anyone can buy retail, but it takes some imagination and creativity to be an avid thrifter. So, get out there and get your thrift on! And, I hope that you have as much good luck finding some amazing deals at the Goodwill, Concord, as I have. Happy thrifting!Goodwill Industries 3495 Clayton Road Concord, CA 94519
