Turnabout is a little thrift store with a big heart. This quaint store along San Pablo Avenue is where you may run into a treasure or two in the knick knack department, as well as a reasonably-priced present for a friend. And, since all proceeds go to a good cause, you’ll want to add this store to your regular thrift circuit in the East Bay, since inventory comes in an on-going basis. They have some smaller furniture pieces like end tables and small dressers, then there’s the regular selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, rugs, curtains, kitchenware, prints and picture frames. Their price tags are color coded, so anything that’s been there for over 3 months goes on sale. Sometimes you can even find clothing for one dollar.
