This mother of all thrift stores is always worth a visit. You just never know what you’ll find here. From first edition books to retro barware, this thrift has given you even more reasons to visit, with its constant markdowns (look for the featured color tag). Don’t overlook the linen’s section where there is a sewing notions section in the back. Had to turn away the bright green sequined trim the other day. What in the world would I use it for? But, I know someone crafty grabbed it by now. I never leave empty handed (which is why we are going to need a bigger house soon!).
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This family-owned thrift store chain benefits the Association for the Retarded (ARC), and Community Association for the Retarded and Handicapped (CARH) and “Lifehouse” in San Rafael, among other charity partners.
