So, Pleasanton has but one thrift store left as a result of our down-turn, but thankfully it is an uplifting, bright, clean and cheery Discovery Shop in a new location within the same commercial center. With pastel colored walls and neatly arranged clothing and housewares, plus a bevy of great deals on jewelry and other goodies in the glass case, you will not leave empty-handed.
On my sojourn there, I saw gently-worn women’s designer clothing, shoes and accessories and a nice men’s section with Oscar de La Renta dress suits. You really don’t have to go to Men’s Wearhouse, guys, just head to a nice thrift store and score on your next interview suit! And, there were lots of wedding dresses and furs if you’re in the market for that.
Plus, the friendly staff here made this an enjoyable thrifting experience. Check it out.
