Hands down, my favorite thrift in San Leandro is Thrift Town. Thrift Town really is a city unto itself, with clearly marked aisles as big as city streets and a huge supply of fresh second-hand goods crying out for a good home. From large furniture pieces to cufflinks, this is the store to visit for unique finds. There’s usually a good supply of men’s and women’s vintage clothing, linens and house wares. Clearly marked color tags are displayed to tell you what items are 50% off that day, and colors rotate weekly.
Staff claims that much of their stock pulls from the exclusive Blackhawk area of San Ramon, but most of it looks like it came from granny’s attic around the corner, which for vintage lovers like me is like a dream come true.

As I may have mentioned on an earlier post, I am exercising self-restraint, so everything you see here was left behind. Now is a great time to shop for treasures like these.
