    • Hi Denise:

You might try contacting one of the Flea Markets or Faires directly to see if they may know if any vendors who would be willing to do this with you. Maybe try the West End Flea market in Alameda, as they are a newer flea market. Just check the list on my site for contact information.

  8. Please help. I thought there was an annual flea market in Benicia during August (thought it was advertised in Sunset magazine). I can find no information on-line. Have you heard of this?

Posted by Katie Jackson | August 6, 2012, 3:43 pm
    • Hi Katie: Yes, it’s the Benicia Peddler’s Fair. Here’s a link: http://www.beniciapeddlersfair.org/. It’s also listed in my listing of Faires on my site. Hope you have a great time! Happy Thrifting, Mimi

    • Not BENICIA but there is a HUGE annual Flea Markrt in SAN JUAN BATISTA (North of Salinas off of Hwy 101 every AUGUST. You treasure hunters and dealers need to ck this one out! all throughout the wide antique store part of downtown (This is the MAIN downtown commerce of this very cool small town). ALWAYS great finds -far more than any pocket can deal with. You’ll leave deleriously happy with only as much money left as you can stand to withold. Prices vary, but PLENTY are low on GREAT stuff from china to books to jewelry to paper to records (I should NOT tell you!) to antique furniture, signs, gewgas, toys, trinkets… vintage galore.

The REAL big deal is 25 miles away every JULY: the annual MOSS LANDING Flea Market. MEGA huge – expect to take the entire day – cool seafood restaurants surround and within. Bring WHEELS (cart), bags, jacket for morning, GET THERE EARLY. It is the MOTHERLODE.

  9. I have been trying to get rid of 4 houses full of stuff. (Yes 4 Houses)I have been to several markets to sell, Which I still have way too much. Anyway, I went to the market below but it got rained out so I can’t give you a review but I didn’t see it on your list. I am going to try Alemany in S.F. tomorrow to sell some antiques, paintings (Louis Icart,Carey Thompson)and some un-ordinary items. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Let’s hope it’s worth the $45 fee.
Also, Thank you for your great site.
