Bargain Basket

This little thrift on Calistoga’s main drag is definitely worth a visit!  First of all, it’s the only thrift store in Calistoga, so you just never know what they may have.  It’s also very neat and clean and looks like a regular retail establishment.  Look for lots of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes, handbags, housewares, and knic knacs.  It used to be located on Washington Street (and still is according to Google maps), but you’ll find it just doors down from Vintage Vogue and the Garrett House Inn.  There’s a great consignment store just a few steps away, as well.

Bargain Basket
1117 Lincoln Avenue
Calistoga, CA 94515

Note:  This thrift store does not have a telephone, so you’re just going to have to go and visit it! If you really need to contact them, you can also try via the following email address: [email protected]

Hours:  Everyday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (approximately)

Proceeds are private, but a portion of the shop’s discards are distributed to local non-profits.

  1. The phone # for the Bargain Basket is not a working number and I can not find another phone #. I know they are still in business because I bought some things there on Thursday 1/13/10 but there was one item I didn’t buy and now I want too. Do you have another way to contact the Bargain Basket?

    • Hi – I’m sorry I don’t have another contact number for them. Maybe you can call Vintage Vogue a few doors down the street and ask them if they have a number for the Bargain Basket or if they wouldn’t mind getting a message to the owner. Thank you for letting me know that the number isn’t working.
