Act 2 Hospice Thrift Store is one of my personal favorite thrifts. Who knew that this little gem was hiding out in an industrial park just off Highway 29? I certainly didn’t until just recently, and what a find! It’s the sister store to the more upscale La Boheme in downtown St. Helena (which I also somehow managed to miss!). This store has it all – smaller furniture pieces, designer clothing, home goods, vintage treasures, books galore and a very friendly volunteer staff. The hours are a bit tricky, but it’s definitely worth a look!
I found some great designer clothing – not that I’m all that into designer wear – but it’s fun to find nice pieces like that for a song! It seems like the lovely ladies of the Napa Valley go through their wardrobes quite rapidly and donate many of their clothing to their local thrift stores. This is a very good thing for you and me. And, there are lots of cute things in their housewares section. Like their motto says: An Irresistable Re-Sale Experience!
