Tucked behind a gorgeous Gothic church on Cloverdale’s main drag, you’ll find this heavenly little thrift shop with treasures just waiting to be found. I love church thrift shops because you always find the neatest stuff. If you read my post “Thrift Trip: Cloverdale” http://thriftstorejunkies.com/2012/03/thrift-trip-cloverdale-part-one/, then you know that I found a very cool vintage Better Homes & Gardens cook book here. I also saw some beautiful jewelry and more than a few vintage coats on their 50% off sale rack.
As soon as you walk through the beautiful double wooden doors with the stained glass overhead, you’ll find the sales rack. It’s a real Alleluiah moment. Venture inside the store and you’ll see men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, housewares, antiques and collectibles, all donated by members of the United Church of Cloverdale and community members. There’s not a lot of room for large furniture pieces, but you may find some interesting items to brighten up your surroundings. And, the prices are so low, you’ll have a devil-may-care attitude all the way to the cash register!Heaven’s Closet Thrift Shop 439 N Cloverdale Blvd Cloverdale, CA 95425 (707) 894.2039
