Mission Ministries

This store used to be located on Hesperian Blvd. and is now on the trail of thrifts located along Mission Boulevard.  It is a little bit smaller than some of the mega-thrifts located in Hayward, but it’s worth a look.  On a recent visit, I spotted vintage clothing and lots of appliances, like washing machines and stoves, if you need one.  And, your shopping dollars are going to to a good cause.

Mission Ministries
27955 Mission Blvd.
Hayward, CA

(510) 537-7338

Hours:  Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the Full Gospel Ministries programs of Hayward that includes feeding the homeless and helping those struggling with addiction and other problems.

    • Hi Nance: Unfortunately, I don’t provide this type of service. Perhaps you could try “Freecycle” -= they will come out and pick up items that are left at curbs for recycling or donation. Here is a link to their website.

Best of luck with your yard sale, and thanks for stopping by!

      • Hi Again Nance:

Let me know if you want me to post your church sale on my “Events” page. If so, I’ll just need the address and the day and time of the sale.

        Best of luck,

  2. Mission Ministries donation pick up driver James is the best. He is friendly and I was happy to meet him. I live in Walnut Creek and I donate to Mission Ministries.

  3. Hi,

Just wanted to share some advice. If anyone plans to report donations when filing taxes, be smart and check the organization’s exempt status. I just learned via GUIDESTAR that Mission Ministries’s exempt status was automatically revoked by the IRS. Hopefully, this has been corrected.
