This thrift has not one, but two levels of thrifty goodness. From hubcaps to gently-worn H&M clothing, you could also find labels like Abercrombie & Fitch and Banana Republic, but you’ll need a little time to sort through the racks and racks of men’s and women’s clothing. And, as for shoes, I saw a pair of DKNY ankle boots for $7.99.
And then, there is the housewares section. Aisles and aisles of glass goblets, plates and cups. Plus, this thing that weighed a ton and could be used as a little secret stash jar, I suppose, but reminded me of a genie’s bottle.
Thrifting Gift Idea: Buy an interesting and unique container like the one above and and fill it with hand-written affirmations for a friend on lovely little slips of paper, like. “I am fun,” or “I am gorgeous”, etc. Whatever you truly think of when you think of them. Then wrap, and you’ve got a one-of-a-kind thoughtful gift for under $10.
More about Savers, though. Be sure to meander up the flight of stairs to the second level where you will find linens and furniture. Here is a smattering of what I saw there:
Plus, I really wasn’t kidding about those hubcaps…

Hours of Operation: Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday 10 to 7
Technically, this is a for-profit thrift store company, but since it partners with local nonprofit agencies and has contributed to various charities since the 1970’s, I am including it in my directory.
P.S. Be sure to check out this beautiful old brick building across the street. The colors are just stunning.
