Salvation Army on Valencia

This Mission thrift is guaranteed to provide you with pure Salvation. It’ll also offer up an entire wing of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, furniture finds and a separate Sally A’s section where the more collectible items and those the thrift thinks are valuable are kept safely secured. Funny, but I usually don’t ever find anything in that section!

Hours:  Monday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Closed Sundays

Proceeds go to men, women & children in need, this thrift store chain was founded in 1887 when Londoner William Booth found homeless men & women living on a bridge and decided to do something to help them.  http://www.sanfrancisco.satruck.org
